Lillie NevillsColor Guard DirectorLillie Nevills is starting her 6th year of coaching color guard and her second year coaching at Alvin High School. She is originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana and was in Alfred M. Barbe’s Band of Blue. She first started coaching in the Baton Rouge Metropolitan area for 4 years.
Miss Nevills started her coaching at Brusly High School in Brusly, LA, where she helped build the color guard program to superior ratings and started the first ever winter guard program. She also coached at Live Oak Junior High School in Denham Springs, LA and Zachary High School in Zachary, LA. Miss Nevills was a part of the LSU Color Guard, Voodoo independent, and contracted to the Louisiana Stars. This will be her 11th year of color guard and she hopes to spin again with an independent group in the future. In her free time, Miss Nevills likes to watch her favorite TV show, relax by the pool/at the beach, and hangout with friends, coworkers, and family. |
