WHO WE ARE
Since its establishment in 1894, Alvin High School has had a phenomenal history of academic success and a unique, but diverse student population. The Alvin High School Yellow Jacket Marching Band has been one of the biggest supporters of Alvin High School Athletics and continues to do so by going to a variety of events.
The Alvin High School Yellow Jacket Band is committed to having mental and physical discipline, citizenship through group endeavors, physical conditioning, cultural growth, valuing judgement, knowledge of music theory, being consistent in instrument technique and care, and allowing creative self-expression. Achieving these goals and objectives requires countless hours of hard work and dedication.
